Four Corners Animal League
Information: Dog and cat spay/neuter program available to low-income persons. No income verification required. Surgery voucher accepted by four local veterinarians.
Information: Program offers free spay/neuter services for dogs and cats and free vaccination at time of surgery to residents of Rio Arriba County, Taos County, and some areas of Northern Santa Fe County. Shelter is open seven days a week, but Clinic is only open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Call Clinic for additional details.
Taos County Sheriff’s Office
Information: The Taos County Sheriff’s Office offers no-cost spay/neuter clinics for the residents of the unincorporated areas of Taos County only. Please call for more program details and to inquire about the next clinic being offered.
Taos Feral Feline Friends
Information: TNR program and financial assistance for spay/neuter and vet care for residents of Taos County, Angel Fire, and Eagle’s Nest; food for stray or feral cats. Please contact for more details.
Zimmer Feline Foundation
Information: We provide free and local indoor pet cat spay/neuter through a network of participating veterinary and nonprofit clinics. This service is available for residents of Bernalillo, Catron, Colfax, Guadalupe, Los Alamos, McKinley, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Juan, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Sandoval, Socorro, Taos, Torrance, and Valencia counties. We welcome other vet clinics in or near our service areas to participate. We also welcome inquiries from other nonprofits that could fix more cats (pet or outdoor) with additional funding.
