Chama Valley Humane Society
Information: We provide vouchers to help defray the cost of spay/neuter surgeries for local pet owners and support a small spay/neuter program for feral/free-roaming cats.
Dixon Animal Protection Society
Information: Through working with local vets, low-cost to no-cost spay/neuter services may be provided to residents of the Dixon Rinconada and Embudo Valley area. Please call for additional details.
Information: Program offers free spay/neuter services for dogs and cats and free vaccination at time of surgery to residents of Rio Arriba County, Taos County, and some areas of Northern Santa Fe County. Shelter is open seven days a week, but Clinic is only open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Call Clinic for additional details.
Los Alamos Friends of Shelter and Companion Animals
Information: Low-cost spay/neuter services are available to residents of Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, Santa Fe and Sandoval counties via a voucher with a $10 co-pay. Voucher may be used at participating veterinarian clinics. Please call for additional details.
Zimmer Feline Foundation
Information: We provide free and local indoor pet cat spay/neuter through a network of participating veterinary and nonprofit clinics. This service is available for residents of Bernalillo, Catron, Colfax, Guadalupe, Los Alamos, McKinley, Mora, Rio Arriba, San Juan, San Miguel, Santa Fe, Sandoval, Socorro, Taos, Torrance, and Valencia counties. We welcome other vet clinics in or near our service areas to participate. We also welcome inquiries from other nonprofits that could fix more cats (pet or outdoor) with additional funding.
